In its beginning, more than fifty years ago, Inducarton dedicated itself, with great success, to the manufacturing of cosmetic packaging.

Since 1985, in the second chapter of its history, Inducarton has been recognized for its interest in developing a culture based on the high quality of its products, focusing on providing top customer service and using the most advanced technologies in the printing industry.

This has allowed us to grow and become a leading company, recognized by prestigious international and national companies as a strategic commercial partner in the area of folding cartons, labels, and advertising material.

1949

Inducarton - Cartonería Industrial Limitada is incorporated in Bogotá, Colombia. Its members are Jorge Rodríguez Arbeláez, Ramón Canal, Consuelo Rodríguez de Ucrós and Helena Canal de Rodríguez.
While the factory was located at Carrera 23 # 9-21, its offices were at the Faux Building on Avenida Jiménez. Its first client was Colgate Palmolive for which it manufactured round boxes for cosmetic powder.

1955

The company changes its name to Cartonería Industrial Limitada – Inducarton and relocates to Carrera 37 # 14-37.

1960

The company ranks first place in Bogotá and fourth nationwide among the industry companies nationwide, after Cartón Colombia Carvajal and Danaranjo, in the industry.

1977

Acquisition of a Perfecta Guillotine.

1979

Acquisition of a Jagenberg Folder Gluer.

1985 The company is bought by Carlos Gómez and Leopoldo González.

1987 Acquisition of a Querschinderbau Converter.

1988 Acquisition of a Colombian made rewinder.

1995 Acquisition of a Bobst SP76 Die cutter.

1996 November The company moves to its current location at Carrera 89 A # 64 C-53.

1997 Carlos Gómez buys 100% of the company.

1999 July Acquisition of a Kohman window patcher

2001 March Acquisition of a Kohmann Folder Gluer. September Certified by ICONTEC on the NTC-ISO 9001:2000

2002 March Acquisition of a Polar Guillotine. December Two warehouses are bought from Banco del Estado and are annexed to the existing one.

2003 August Acquisition of a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD74 Press (6 colors plus varnish station).
Acquisition of a Heidelberg Printmaster GTO52 Press (4 colors)

2004 November First direct exports to the Dominican Republic for an amount of $23,.490,.000 pesos.

2005 October ANDIGRAF Prize Winning Award in the category: Packaging and Folding Cartons without Special Processes for the product SIXPACK SMIRNOFF ICE. ANDIGRAF Prize Winning Award in the category: Packaging and Folding Cartons with Special Processes for the product KLEENEX NEMO CUBE. Honorable Mention by The Printing Innovation and Xerox Imaging Awards in the digital short-run category for the product POOH KLEENEX BOX. Quality Certificate and Gráfico de Plata at the XII Latin American Contest for Graphic Products “Teobaldo de Nigris” in the category: Carton packaging and folding containers for the product SIX PACK MILE.

2006 May Acquisition of a Bobst Speria 106E Die cutter. July Acquisition of a Markandy 2200 flexographic press (8 colors) Acquisition of ESKO Software Suite specialized in folding carton boxes, labels, and sleeves. December ANDIGRAF Prize Winning Award in the category: Packaging and Folding Cartons for the product KLEENEX CARS CUBE. A warehouse is bought from Mr. Fabián Martínez which is annexed to the existing ones.


2007 January Acquisition of a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD102 Press (6 colors plus varnish station).
Acquisition of a Tymi UV coater machine. April Acquisition of a DCM sleeve forming machine.
December Acquisition of a Konsberg XL20 cutting table.

2009 January Acquisition of a Harley mounter proofer. February Acquisition of a KLUGE embossing and engraving machine,, the first one of its kind in Colombia.
May Renewal of the NTC-ISO 9001 certificate, 2008 version, by the ICONTEC. October ANDIGRAF Prize Winning Award in the category: Packaging and Folding Cartons without Special Processes for the product: FRUTOS ROJOS – RED FRUITS. December Nomination in the Level of Service category at the First Provider Award Ceremony at C.I Super de Alimentos.

2010 February Acquisition of a BOBST Folder Gluer.
